Emily and Annie do anatomy face painting with the University of Dundee Dental School

Earlier on in the year Emily invited Annie to participate in an Anatomy Face Painting session with the University of Dundee’s Dental school students. In the video you'll also see an interview with Dr. Andrew Mason who started this incredibly fun session.

Andrew started the face painting session a few years back to bring some fun into dental anatomy teaching. Throughout the years it has became increasingly successful, especially with the help of Emily who holds a fantastic lecture beforehand showcasing body painting art from great artists like Danny Quirk. This inspires the students to really get into the sessions and their testimonials in the video only strengthens that.

Here are Annie’s reflections on the session:

“Throughout the sessions I've been Emily's model as she draws in the anatomy of my face. I'm sure you'll all agree that her painting skills are amazing, personally I didn't want to wash it off!

Emily jokes that my face has been retweeted from her twitter so many times...thanks, Emily.

I don't know if you guys remember but her camera got lost on an Edinburgh train. Somehow a pic of my face ended up on a Facebook page to find the owner. Check out the other blog post to read more about that face painting session at Edinburgh University.”
