CHALLENGE
The team at Now Medical Studios were delighted to pair up with the talented web design team at Shofsky to help develop custom medical illustrations for our client, Entrada Therapeutics. Our main goals in this project were to create illustrations that aligned with the new branding that was going to be unveiled with the website launch.

SOLUTION
Working closely with the Shofsky web design team, we stuck close to the branding style guide as we came up with clean visual solutions for the graphics that helped explain Entrada’s science story.

VISUAL DEVELOPMENT

We’ve always found it useful to see the process of how other people create things. Here are some behind the scenes snippets and work in progress pieces that might be of interest to you.

If you want to learn more about our techniques for creating our content, check out our education channel Learn Medical Art.

Step 1

We start with an initial rough sketch to figure out the key anatomy and components of the illustration. This is then sent of to our clients for review.

Step 2

The rough sketch is then tightened up and feedback notes implemented. At this stage, we wanted to explore how we could incorporate the new brand colours and fonts into the illustration. This is sent off for review and feedback.

Step 3

Our client’s valued feedback notes are implemented and we refined the illustration to have more realistic colouring for the anatomy.

Step 4

Throughout the whole process, we keep close communication with the web design team, Shofsky, and we prepare files that are optimal for their web design and upload. Here’s how the image looks once it’s been uploaded to their site design.
